AdBirds.com presents a new way to shop online, save gas, and support local charities. They are an Austin company
who offer special discounts and services for nonprofit organizations and have a new vision of how online storefronts should work. AdBirds
has provided free meeting space and sponsored banners for Dart Music International. We will have our own page up on AdBirds.com very soon.
Affordable Sound and CD Duplication is an Austin company that specializes in CD \DVD duplication, replication,
mastering, and manufacturing products. They have been the go-to source for CD's and DVD's for Dart Music International's
promotional and fundraising discs. They have been a great local source for many of our bands to create CD's and offer a
discount to our
Artist Members.
Austin Cultural Arts Division provides leadership and management for the City's cultural arts programs and for the development of arts
and cultural industries as an economic development strategy on behalf of the City. Among other assistance, their award of a grant to Dart Music
International helped us greatly with our 2009
International Night at Friends on Sixth Street and
International Day at Agave on Sixth Street events.
Austin Music Foundation (AMF) strengthens and connects the local music community with innovative programs
that empower musicians and fuel Austin's creative economy. AMF programs and personnel are a valuable resource for artists and
organizations like Dart Music International.
From blues to indie rock, country to jazz, rock en español and more, Austin's nearly 200 live music venues draw locals and travelers
alike. The
Austin Music Office, a division of Austin Convention and Visitors
Bureau, adds meetings to the mix by helping groups book local bands for conventions, keynote luncheons and off-site receptions.
Beyond Persia is dedicated to the promotion of the Arts & culture of Iranian diaspora. Iranian artists of all kinds,
painters, designers, musicians, writers, and filmmakers are celebrated here, beyond Persia, in the hopes of helping bridge the culture gap
existing between our rich history and the new homes in the host nations of millions of displaced Iranians before and since 1979. We collaborate
wherever possible and have personnel on each others' Advisory Boards.
Causeway Interactive connects nonprofit organizations with technology to help them operate more effectively, connect
with larger audiences and raise more money. Their services range from online marketing consulting and web design to organizational process
improvement, database deployment, and custom web application development. They have assisted Dart Music International with advice and
connections to technical services.
DreamHost hosts Dart Music International's website. They are a web domain hosting and registration company that is regularly
identified as a democratic workplace by the WorldBlu organization. Besides having incredibly responsive support and excellent service,
they offer steep discounts for nonprofit organizations - including donated hosting for Dart Music International.
Fine Incentives creates promotional products that really stand out, at a price that's tough to beat! Amy and the crew have done amazing
work with t-shirts, lighters, and other promotional materials for Dart Music International and several of our artists.
Gene Butler Events is an Austin-based full-service events production and management company. GBE is a primary resource for
Dart Music International event planning and advice.

is to revolutionize philanthropy and nonprofit practice by providing information that advances transparency, enables users to make better
decisions, and encourages charitable giving.
The mission of the
Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) is to provide access to affordable health care for Austin's low income,
uninsured musicians, focusing on prevention and wellness. Dart Music International is supportive of their mission and we regularly
volunteer to help with their fundraising events.
Millennium Golf Discs revolutionized disc golf in the mid-1990's by releasing the sport's first line of premium plastic discs. Millennium
was formed jointly in the mid 90's by Disc Golf Hall of Famers John Houck and Harold Duvall. Houck, now best known as the sport's premier
course designer, understands the meaning of course management. He knows the importance of getting predictable results from predictable
discs, and he makes sure that only the best of the best get the Millennium name. John and Mike Olse donated the great mini-discs, like the one
pictured, that we gave out during SXSW 2009.
Founded in 2005, the
Persian Arts Festival (PAF) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to
showcasing the magnificence and diversity of Persian art and culture through its voices, artists and visionaries. PAF brings local and global
communities together to support these artists and explore one of the world's most ancient and rich civilizations. The festival gives audiences of
all ages and ethnicities the chance to discover new Persian voices and celebrate established ones. Areas represented at previous events have
included fine art, music, film, comedy, family activities and literary. PAF has generously supported some of our favorites artists, including
Hypernova and

Printing Solutions
Printing Solutions (new website coming soon) is a an Austin full-service print shop that has relocated to South Congress Avenue. They
graciously provided printing of our promotional posters and our new banners. They are especially interested in working with local Austin

At
Reservoir Creative Group they create clean, clear, well executed websites and graphics that work. A couple of examples of their skills

Save Austin Music is a not-for-profit organization that promotes Austin music and its
relationship with our musicians, audiences and local business and political communities. Save Austin Music is a grassroots community organization
comprised of members of Austin's music industry. Dart Music International founder Dave Dart is a member of their Board of Directors.
The
SXSW Music And Media Conference showcases hundreds of musical acts from around the globe on over eighty stages in downtown Austin.
And that's just a third of the overall SXSW Conferences and Festivals! Almost everyone involved with Dart Music International has worked or
volunteered for SXSW, and the inspiration for DMI came from work with the SXSW International Housing Program.
The Still Recording Studio has been providing a comfortable and inspiring environment for artists to create great music
without sonic comprises in South Austin since 2000. Randall Squires has done recording, mixing, and mastering of our International Night
CD's for the past two years.
Tamizdat is a nonprofit organization that is committed to fostering the free exchange of information
and ideas between artists, audiences, and industry. Tamizdat works to build international communities by bridging the cultural and
economic gaps that separate American and Western Europe from Central and Eastern Europe. We refer our artists to Tamizdat for
submission of their visa applications.
Texas Accountants and Lawyers for the Arts (TALA) was formed in 1979 to meet the legal and accounting needs
of artists and nonprofit organizations, and is the largest provider of pro bono legal and accounting services to the arts in the United States.
TALA legal assistance was invaluable in the creation of Dart Music International.
The
Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA) believes that every citizen in Texas deserves
the opportunity for personal growth and self-expression through the arts. TCA is a proponent of the basic human values of civility, citizenship,
and personal and collective accountability. The arts build character, promote creativity, develop higher-order thinking skills, and bring people
together by presenting and celebrating cultural differences. At the very core of TCA's funding and service programs is the responsibility for
recipient organizations to be accountable to the public investment and to their communities in the broadest, most inclusive way. Their funding of the
Austin Cultural Arts Division enabled a grant to Dart Music International that helped us greatly with our 2009
International Night at Friends on Sixth Street and
International Day at Agave on Sixth Street events.
The
Texas Music Office serves as the information clearinghouse and promotion office for the Texas music industry. The support and
advice given by Director Casey Monahan and the entire TMO staff have been a crucial component to the success of Dart Music International.
The
Texas Rockfest celebrated its 10th year March 18-21 with hundreds of indie acts on four outdoor stages in downtown Austin last March.
As the designated charity, Dart Music International received wonderful support, prominent advertising at all their stages and a great introduction
by Adam Brewer in a
News 8 Austin television interview. Their generous contribution of $300 also represented 10% of their raffle sales.
Sadly, during the festival we lost our friend Asa Tom. He was a member of the original Rockfest crew and a beloved friend. A memorial show
was held at the Hole In the Wall on March 29 with great Austin bands like One Eyed Doll and the Oklahomos raising funds for
the SIMS Foundation - bidding Asa an appropriate farewell.
